October Prime Day in particular is not only a great time to buy a TV on sale, but happens to fall during prime TV watching season. Whether you're a football person, a scary movie person, or a cozy fall show rewatch person, this is your chance to upgrade TVs without waiting until Black Friday.

We've pulled the best ones and organized them by size, and will be refreshing this list daily throughout the sale and the days after — deals tend to stick around for a second after a Prime event ends.
Before you take the plunge on an Amazon TV deal, though, it would be smart to check out Best Buy's Flash Sale that happens to fall on the same two days as Prime Day. Best Buy tends to have a wider selection of TV deals than Amazon, particularly on the more premium end from Samsung, LG, and Sony.
Who says you need to spend a grand to get a nice (and decently-sized) 4K TV? With the 35% discount that Amazon slapped on the 55-inch version of its most affordable Fire TV, Prime members could actually get one fortwodifferent rooms for way less than $1,000.
As Amazon's most basic in-house Fire TV, the 4-Series would be best suited for people who aren't super picky about saturation or brightness levels as long as it's a step up from their old LED TV — and this definitely will be. With the intuitive Fire TV platform built in, the 4-Series can access all of your favorite streaming apps, which you can arrange in whatever layout makes sense to you.
