This couple deserves an award,Germany Archives and they haven't even had their child yet.
After seeing a thread on Reddit's r/DIY subreddit with a similar idea, Andy and Lisa decided to make a fiber-optic star ceiling in their daughter's nursery. Only this one has a precise star map based on their child's due date.

The couple put up a post of their own, where they shared 46 photos depicting all of the incredibly taxing steps it took to complete the project.
Let's briefly summarize.
First, they pushed aside all of the insulation in the attic.
Then, with the help of an electrician, they ran a new outlet through the attic and into the closet where a light box would be.
After that, they used an online program called Stellarium to find out exactly what the night sky would look like on their daughter's due date, July 5, 2018. They even figured out the correct direction based on the northwest facing window that's in the nursery.
They then color-coded each star based on the size of the fiber-optic strand they would use.
After that, they projected the Stellarium template onto the ceiling in the nursery, and drilled holes into the ceiling where each star would be.
They then straightened out the fibers, installed them all, ran them through the attic, trimmed them, and finally repainted the ceiling around the holes.
It's a lot.
All while Lisa was pregnant, might I add.
The result is the most mesmerizing ceiling I've ever seen.
Even their dog, Zoey, was impressed:
Pretty simple, right? And here I thought I was amazing for finally getting around to hanging wall decorations in my room.
The internet had all of the appropriate reactions to their exorbitant efforts:
My only advice is, never move out of that house if your life depends on it.
I highly recommend you take the time to read all of the incredible details by looking at the entire thread here.
