It's not unusual or ebonyeven unexpected for a Lady Gaga album to break records, but this weekend she became the first female artist with four No. 1 albums this decade.
SEE ALSO: Lady Gaga makes a stripped down U-turn with 'Joanne'Joanne was the second-largest album debut for a woman this year, according to Billboard, a title Gaga lost to Beyoncé (they round out the top four albums of 2016 with Drake and Frank Ocean). Though Gaga now has the most No. 1 albums of the Billboard Top 200 in the 2010s, it's also because she's released the most -- both Queen Bey and Taylor Swift are trailing at three albums each.
Though solidified in the Top 200, Joanne's 201,000 units sold this week are still far behind the top three albums of the year, with Blondeat 276,000, Lemonadeat 653,000 and Views at 1.04 million.
I can't believe I'm the Female Artist with THE MOST #1 ALBUMS THIS DECADE! 4 #1s That's a grand slam! @billboard 💕🕶🙌🎤🎶 Thank you to my fans! pic.twitter.com/NF0OdrV4Jq
