Tesla Cybertruck: A sturdy,Bazaar steel-plated, mean, electric pickup. That, at least, is what it was envisioned to be, but unfortunately for Tesla, the Cybertruck hasn't been very sturdy or reliable thus far.
Despite being on the market for a little over a year, the Cybertruck has been recalled over, and over, and over again. And most of those recalls weren't for minor issues that Tesla could fix with software updates. Nope, we're talking parts falling off, and accelerator pedals not working.
Even worse, in several cases, Tesla had to recall nearly all of the Cybertrucks it sold thus far, making these issue a headache for virtually every Cybertruck owner.
To put this in context, other car companies have recalls, too. For example, in the first quarter of 2024, Ford had the most recalls (17), and Chrysler was in second place (15), while Tesla only had 3 recalls.
