Actor Michael K. Williams,I Want To Be The First Guy best known for his legendary portrayal of Omar Little in The Wire, was found dead on Monday at the age of 54. In the hours since, a number of tributes have been paid by his former co-stars and friends on social media.

Williams made a huge impact on the world of film and TV during his career. After The Wirehe went on to star as Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire, before appearing more recently in The Night Ofand Lovecraft Country — the latter of which saw him receive an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
