For all the people out there who love Spotify but teen rape forced sex videosrefuse to pay for the premium version of the service, today's your lucky day. Google Home is finally supporting free Spotify accounts.
SEE ALSO: Google Home now has an Australian accentIf you're they type of person who wants to try using Spotify for free on your Google home, just make sure your account is linked to the smart speaker through the app.
You'll find the option in the Google Home app by tapping the "music" button. You can choose to set a default music service by tapping the radio icon next to your favorite service. Next, connect your account by clicking "link" and signing into Spotify — and that's it!
Free accounts don't give listeners total control over what's up next. But, when you tell Google to play a specific song or artist, your device will play songs inspired by what you requested. And if you tell Google to play a playlist, you'll hear those songs on shuffle instead of the listed order. Not a bad deal for paying nothing at all!
Google Home also offers Google Play Music Free and Pandora to people who want some variety without paying a monthly fee.
If you like having complete control over what's playing, Google Home also supports Spotify Premium. This lets you tell Google exactly which artist, album, or song you want right now. Other supported music subscriptions include Google Play Music Premium and YouTube Red.
Whatever your choice is, Google Home is opening up the options for more music streaming. So go forth and link your account and start a dance party.
