The GloriousWhite LotusSeason 2 wrapped up on Sunday (Dec. 11) with a stunning finale. If you haven't watched the episode yet, then what the hell are you doing here? Please don't read about memes and theories before watching because, yes, obviously, there are spoilers ahead.
OK, glad that warning is out of the way.
One more line break just to be sure.
So, Tanya huh? Tanya, my dear, you could have just jumped in the water, or used a ladder, or called someone. That was a wild death.
One of the best parts of The White Lotus is the online community, where folks churn out compelling theories, shareable memes, and timely jokes. Some of the theories even proved to be right, considering show creator Mike White does his best to layer in metaphor, foreshadowing, and symbolism throughout the entirety of the series.
The minute the finale ended, people were already turning the episode's best moments into online fodder. There were jokes about Albie and Portia, who escaped Italy with their lives but not much dignity.

There were some insightful memes about the "winners" of the show, most of which centered on Mia and Lucia, who successfully conned the deplorable Di Grasso men out of $50,000.

Oh, and people really loved Daphne, who seemed to lean into the whole "we're crap people, let's enjoy it" thing.

There were, of course, also some memes, jokes, and observations about Tanya's death and what really went down between Ethan, Harper, Cameron, and Daphne. (Was it a love square?)

And lots of people went back to spot the clues throughout the season now that the big mystery has been resolved. One thing is certain: The internet is ready (and prepping jokes) for Season 3.
