LONDON -- Jon Snow may know nothing about his origins, but it turns out Sean Bean knew everything. In fact, it looks like he's known for years.
SEE ALSO: The 'Game of Thrones' finale set up some massive rifts for Season 7Following the much-anticipated Tower of Joy flashback scene from Sunday's episode -- which confirmed the R + L = J theory that's been a popular one among fans for ages -- one Redditor reminded everyone of Sean Bean's AMA from last year.
In particular, they drew attention to this little section.
Yep, that's right -- Ned Stark himself was dropping Snow-shaped truth bombs back in 2015.
As it turns out, that wasn't the first time Bean expressed his doubts over Jon Snow's parentage, either.
In a 2014 interview with Vulture, Bean was asked about the possibility of him appearing in some Game of Thronesflashbacks in upcoming seasons.
"I've definitely got some unfinished business that needs to be resolved there," he said in response. "I'm obviously not Jon Snow's dad. And you need that to be revealed at some point, don't you?"
