Tulane, ranked No. 17 in The Associated Press poll, enters the matchup 11-1 overall. Most recently, Tulane defeated UTSA 29-16 on Nov. 24. SMU comes into the contest 10-2 overall. On Nov. 25, SMU beat Navy 59-14. Entering Saturday, SMU leads the all-time series 8-1 vs. Tulane.
