Debuting exactly 42 years after the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Specialcomes The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special — and yes, it’s what it sounds like.
Taking place after the events of Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker, this special has Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose, and the droids gathering together for the Wookie celebration Life Day. However, after Rey and BB-8 are swept into a cross-timeline adventure that has them encountering some of the most memorable heroes and villains of the Skywalker Saga including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Yoda, they must find a way to reunite with the others and continue the holiday festivities.
While we're still awaiting a preview, the plot sounds like a dream highlight reel for Star Wars fans. We might not be getting a full movie this season, but this fun substitute will do.
