When you think of Game of Thrones,Ireland you can now also think of chic urban streetwear. Starting this week, HBO has partnered with seven designers to release Game of Thrones-inspired designs. Carrots, Billionaire Boy’s Club, ALIFE, Dee & Ricky, 40s & Shorties, Koio, and V/SUAL will launch limited "micro-collections" of Thronesapparel.
SEE ALSO: Everyone's getting a wardrobe upgrade on 'Game of Thrones'“Game of Throneshas captivated audiences globally for the past six seasons, immersing us in a world we couldn’t wait to return to week in and week out,” said Lucinda Martinez, SVP, Marketing, HBO in a statement. “In celebration of the seventh season, we are proud to partner with seven unique designers who are creating collectible pieces of clothing and accessories that build upon the creativity and ingenuity of this iconic series to take the themes off-screen and into streetwear.”
The first designer whose work we can see is CARROTS, the menswear label by Anwar Carrots. Carrots' wife and collaborator Stella Blu drew the sketch of Daenerys from "The Winds of Winter" that appears in the CARROTS line.
“My favorite moment was when she met her man, Khal Drogo,” Carrots said. “When I saw that big dude kiss his girl like that, because he loved her...That was my favorite part.”
Hmmmmmm.
The rest of the "Rep the Realm" designs will be released weekly throughout the season.
