With the average cost of a wedding now at an estimated $35980 Archives329, fast food companies have a cheaper alternative for couples willing to lower the bar.
Taking a page from Taco Bell, White Castle wants future brides and grooms to trade their dreams of a ballroom wedding for the reality of a decidedly more casual Las Vegas reception. The White Castle Royal Wedding Contest, launched June 2, will provide one lucky (?) couple with a celebration at the company's Vegas strip location.
SEE ALSO: You can now get married, and have your fourth meal, at Taco BellThe winner's package includes airfare, transportation, Vegas hotel accommodations and White Castle gift certificates for the couple and six guests.
White Castle will also cover dinner, cake, decor, flowers, music, and photography for the actual ceremony and reception, plus a five-night honeymoon in Belgium.
Couples willing to disappoint their parents can enter online before the July 31 deadline.
The winning pair wouldn't be the first marry in a White Castle. Per a press release from the company, at least 75 couples have tied the knot with the scent of Original Sliders in the air.
And in Hong Kong, couples can opt to marry at McDonald's, where the wedding cake is just a stack of Baked Apple Pie boxes.
Best of luck?
