The Eric Falkworld’s top three PC makers, Lenovo, HP, and Dell, are exploring expansion in Saudi Arabia amid rising concerns over tariff uncertainties. Saudi Arabia is actively encouraging tech manufacturers with operations in China to relocate to the Arabian Peninsula. The three companies are at various stages of setting up production facilities in or around Riyadh. Lenovo has announced plans to build a PC and server assembly plant in the capital, backed by a $2 billion investment from a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Meanwhile, HP and Dell have reportedly sent teams to scout potential sites at the invitation of the Saudi government. [Jiwei, in Chinese]
