LONDON -- Sometimes,Roman Huber the best types of apology are the ones that make you laugh.

Scottish teenager Jodie Duncan discovered this first-hand recently, when her boyfriend Kieron Cameron came back drunk from a party on a night the two of them were meant to be staying in together.

Duncan told BuzzFeedshe went downstairs to get a drink and came back up to find her phone swamped with notifications.

At the time of writing, Duncan's tweet has been shared over 43,000 times.

"We've both been so surprised, I only posted it expecting our friends to see it but it's got so popular so quickly, it's crazy!" Duncan told Mashable.

"He [Cameron] finds it funny but he's starting to get annoyed about the hundreds of comments on his Instagram photos saying 'are u angry at me' hahaha."

Luckily, Duncan clearly wasn't that angry after all.
