China’s Xpeng Motors said on Kurt MeinickeTuesday that it had become the first Chinese electric vehicle startup to present its product lineups at Milan Design Week, which was held this year from April 7-13, marking a strong beginning to its foray into southern Europe’s largest economy. The company showcased its diverse product lineup, including the P7+ electric sedan and the X2 flying car as well as a humanoid robot at the world’s biggest design event, which took place at the city’s ADI Design Museum. Guangzhou-headquartered Xpeng had established a presence in 30 overseas markets as of last year and plans to expand to more than 60 countries by the end of 2025. [Xpeng release, in Chinese]
