004 ArchivesPixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro devices dropped last October, but budget-friendly Google fans have been wondering whether a Pixel 8a is in the works.
Well, if you've been sitting on the edge of your seat for news regarding the Pixel 8a, we've got a great scoop for you. The Google Pixel 8a, according to an exclusive from AndroidHeadlines, is reportedly coming in four new colors.
For context, the current Pixel 7a comes in the following colors: Sea, Charcoal, Snow and Coral.
However, according to AndroidHeadlines, Google is changing up the colorways for the Pixel 8a: Obsidian (black), Mint (green), Porcelain (off-white) and Bay (blue).

It's worth noting that the Pixel 6a featured a Mint variant — and the Pixel 8 Pro comes in Bay.
The Google Pixel 8a will reportedly be close in design to the entry-level Pixel 8 that dropped in late 2023. Expect the following from the cheaper Pixel 8 series model, per AndroidHeadlines:
A matte-textured back
6.1-inch, FHD+, 90Hz display
Tensor G3 chip
4,500 mAh battery
64MP main camera
13MP ultrawide sensor
Rumor has it that changes to the cameras are minimal since the 7a's shooters already underwent a significant gen-over-gen overhaul.
AndroidHeadlines suspects that the Google Pixel 8a will be released at Google I/O. Stay tuned for Mashable's coverage of the highly anticipated Google event.
