We're salivating over the new iPhone 7 and eroticism lorde7 Plus, but not so much over the new Apple Watch Series 2.
At its two-hour long Apple event on Wednesday, the company tried its best to go through as many core new features of the new iPhones and Apple Watch as time permitted. But there are still lots of questions, some of which you're probably asking.

The high-gloss Jet Black iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are sure to be the most-coveted of the color options, but it'll only be available if you get the 128GB or 256GB storage models. Sorry 32GB users!
This means you'll need to pay $749 (128GB) or $849 (256GB) for the Jet Black iPhone 7, or $869 or $969 for the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus.
The other thing about the Jet Black finish is that it's more prone to "fine micro-abrasions," according to Apple's fine print.
What will those look like? We can't be sure until we get one and use it for a few days, but it could mean hairline scratches. Remember, the Jet Black gloss is just a finish and not strengthened Gorilla Glass that would be less prone to scratching.
The iPhone 7 Plus has dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back, one wide-angle and one telephoto. The latter lets you zoom 2x as close opticallywithout losing any image quality as compared to digital zoom, which uses software to enhance an image.
It sounds great, but there is one caveat: You only get 1x and 2x and no zoom range in between. In other words, no 1.5x.
So: 1x (wide-angle), 2x (telephoto) and then up to 10x through digital zoom (shudder).
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have the exact same dimensions as the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus (not counting the camera "hump," of course).
And yet Apple somehow made them lighter. The iPhone 7 weighs 4.87 ounces versus the iPhone 6S's 5.01 ounces and the iPhone 7 Plus weighs 6.63 ounces compared to the iPhone 6S Plus's 6.77 ounces.
Apple boasted about longer battery life on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. And that's true...for internet use over 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi.
But if you take a look at Apple's iPhone comparison website, talk time dropped from 24 hours on 3G on the iPhone 6S Plus to 21 hours on the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 6S and 7 remain at 14 hours of talk time over 3G.
Most people probably talk less on the phone these days and having more power for surfing the internet is more valuable than talk time, but still.
Just about every flagship Android has quick charging since it's baked into Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors. With quick charging, phones can be charged up super fast and "topped off" throughout the day to extend battery life. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 can charge from 0% to 40% in about 30 minutes.
Apple made no mention of quick charging. And while you can charge up an iPhone faster with a beefier power adapter that outputs more power (like with the iPad's 12-watt charger instead of the iPhone's 5-watt charger), it's still not as fast to charge as flagship Android phones.
You now what sucks about removing the headphone jack? You can't charge and listen to music at the same time unless you use wireless headphones.
Apple's recommendation is apparently its $39 iPhone dock, which hasa 3.5mm headphone jack.
The only other workaround I can see for wired headphones is to buy a battery case like Apple's official Smart Battery Case, which plugs into the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus's Lightning port and has a pass-through Lightning port for Lightning headphones. But that assumes the case is charged up and ready to charge your iPhone.
Apple's fancy (if they work as well as Apple claims) wireless AirPod earbuds could be a game changer despite costing $159 and looking just like EarPods sans wires.
But never mind those things, because you probably don't want to wear them on a run. Besides falling out, they're not water-resistant at all. And you know, when you run, you sweat...you do the math.
It's a bummer, but at least Apple still sells Beats Powerbeats 2 wireless (but not cable-free) earbuds that are water- and sweat-resistant.
Apple showed off a lovely-looking ceramic Apple Watch Series 2 model. Its case is four times stronger than stainless steel!
And you'll pay for that hardness. Apple didn't announce pricing on stage, but on its website, the model is now listed under the Apple Watch Edition, previously reserved for the $10,000 to $17,000 Apple Watch Editions made from real gold and rose gold.
Want one? It'll cost you $1,249!
